More than 1,000 people have been arrested in Iran over the past month and charged with sharing anti-regime content on social media and collaborating with the enemy. This was reported by the Iranian news agency IRNA. Iranian police stated that the arrests were carried out following "intelligence operations and technological monitoring in recent days." According to them, the detainees "established contact with enemy networks and acted to undermine the country's internal stability." It was also reported that 466 of the detainees are accused of "internet activity that undermined the country's national security."
