Hundreds of people attended the funeral of Sgt. Amit Cohen (19) from Holon, a fighter in Battalion 13 of the Golani Brigade, who fell yesterday in an operational accident in a defensive position in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. He was buried in the military section of the city cemetery. In the incident where Cohen was killed, another fighter from the battalion was seriously injured, following an explosion that was allegedly caused by improper handling of an explosive device. Cohen left behind his parents and two younger siblings.
