The prosecution has submitted an indictment to the Central District Court in Lod against Zohar Gonder, a 19-year-old from Yehud, who out of jealousy struck a person in the head with a hammer. According to the charges, Gonder became angry at his girlfriend who was spending time with friends in Moshav Rinatya. He took a hammer, determined her location and arrived at the moshav. The defendant noticed a man and another person walking on a path toward the house, ran toward them and forcefully struck the man in the head with the hammer, and also attempted to harm the other person. The indictment attributes to the defendant offenses of aggravated intentional assault and attempted aggravated intentional assault.
