Municipalities open shelters despite no change in guidelines: 'Risk of fire not negligible'

Although the Home Front Command has not announced any change in guidelines, several municipalities have decided to open shelters, including Ramat Gan, Karmiel and Eilat. Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama Hacohen said that 'the assessment is that the risk of fire from Iran at the end of the week has increased - and is no longer negligible. It is right to exercise extra caution and hopefully this opening will be in vain.'
