In the shadow of the war that continued over the past year, 69,300 Israelis chose to leave the country in 2025, compared to 19,000 returnees. This is according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) published today (Wednesday) ahead of the new civil year. According to the CBS, Israel's population is currently estimated at 10 million and 178 thousand residents. 7,771,000 are Jews and others (76.3% of the population), 2,147,000 Arabs (21.1%) and 260 thousand foreigners (2.6%).
