National Parents Leadership on PISA Tests: 'Should Keep Decision-Makers Awake at Night'

|
In response to the PISA test results published by the OECD, the National Parents Leadership said, "The fact that almost one in three students does not reach the basic level in reading, mathematics and science should keep decision-makers awake at night." Eli Horowitz, CEO of the Trump Foundation for Education, also addressed the data: "About 4.8% are high achievers in mathematics in PISA, this is a warning sign for Israel's scientific and technological future." MK Merav Cohen called for an emergency debate following the results and said: "The results published today by the OECD are a severe indictment against the education system."
