Karhi to Attorney General: 'We Don't Need Your Approval to Govern'

|
Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi attacked the Attorney General after she determined that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must refrain from appointing a new Shin Bet chief. 'The Attorney General and the Supreme Court are competing over who can disregard the law more, to hell with the country,' he stated. 'The government doesn't need their approval to govern. On Monday, we should appoint both a Shin Bet chief and a Civil Service Commissioner. Let them file petitions, let them break their quills writing verdicts and legal opinions against the law. Don't care.'
