The Tel Aviv District Court convicted Morman Kamdze (62), an illegal resident from Georgia, of murder under aggravated circumstances of Giorgi Pirashvili in Holon, and of assault and threats against his wife, stemming from suspicion that she had an intimate relationship with Pirashvili. According to the indictment, in February 2024 he attacked his wife in their apartment, strangled her, threatened her with a knife and said he intended to murder Pirashvili. Subsequently, he left the apartment with a knife, called Pirashvili, and after an exchange of words pulled out the knife and stabbed him in the upper body.
