A 13-year-old boy managed to board an El Al plane after passing through all security screening stages without a passport or flight ticket. The plane was about to take off for the United States, and when the cabin crew realized the boy was not supposed to be on the plane, they briefly questioned him and removed him from the aircraft. The Israel Airports Authority stated that the matter is under investigation. El Al stated: "The cabin crew on the flight noticed a child who boarded the plane without a flight ticket and without a passport, after passing through all security stages and border control at Ben Gurion Airport. The child was safely removed from the plane before takeoff, and the incident is under investigation by the Israel Airports Authority."
