Some 120,000 visitors toured nature reserves and national parks across the country over the weekend. The Nature and Parks Authority reported that the leading sites were Tel Ashkelon, Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Caesarea, Ein Afek Nature Reserve, Ein Hemed and the Nahal Hermon-Banias Nature Reserve. Some 4,300 visitors stayed overnight at various campgrounds, with the leading sites being Mishmar HaCarmel, Ma'ayan Harod, Mamshit and Eshkol Park.
