East Jerusalem resident arrested for allegedly stabbing partner, attacking her with iron chair

Police arrested a man in his 20s from Shuafat refugee camp near Jerusalem on suspicion of brutally attacking his partner on several occasions, causing her injuries. According to police, in one instance the suspect attacked her with an iron chair, and in another – after she left their home – he stabbed her with a knife. Afterward, he accompanied her to receive medical treatment, and upon completion, took her to a nearby forest and threatened her life. His detention was extended until Thursday, and police arrested two additional men in East Jerusalem on suspicion of violence against women.
