Talik Guaili, mother of Yasam fighter Ran Guaili whose body is being held captive in Gaza, addressed the nationwide protests for the release of hostages and said she "doesn't find logic in it." In an interview with ynet studio, she said that "'Day of Rage' or whatever they call it, serves Hamas's interests and raises the price for the hostages and pushes us further from a deal." Machavit Mayer, aunt of Gali and Ziv Berman who are held hostage in Gaza, said: "I don't agree with these statements (that the protests 'raise' the price for releasing the hostages), I am convinced that the power is in the hands of the people. This can only advance us toward an agreement that brings everyone home."
