The IDF confirms it has eliminated "journalist-terrorist" Anas al-Sharif in the Gaza City area in the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF spokesperson's statement said: "The terrorist operated under the guise of an Al Jazeera journalist, served as a Hamas cell leader and promoted rocket fire plans against Israeli civilians and IDF forces." The statement also noted that "the IDF previously revealed intelligence information and numerous documents found in the Gaza Strip confirming his military affiliation with the Hamas terrorist organization. The documents confirm once again his terrorist activities, which Al Jazeera network tried to disavow."
