Temporary order banning prostitution consumption extended by 5 years

The Knesset plenum approved in second and third readings the extension of the temporary order banning prostitution consumption for five additional years. The temporary order was not established as permanent legislation due to objections from the chairman of the Knesset Constitution Committee, MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism), regarding the wording of the law and its effectiveness in reducing the phenomenon.
