Syria's new government has agreed to grant International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors access to sites previously used as nuclear facilities, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi told AP. According to Grossi, the goal is "to clarify past activities carried out at sites" that the agency believes "were likely related to nuclear weapons."
