Hundreds gathered for the funeral of Staff Sergeant (res.) Alon Farkas, who fell during an encounter in northern Gaza Strip. At the Pardes Hana cemetery, Farkas's father eulogized him: "You loved your homeland, had high motivation and never gave up. After regular service, you continued with the 646 Brigade 'Desert Foxes.' You always stood out with your wisdom and left your mark everywhere. You always gave your all - a person worthy of appreciation."
