The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court extended the detention of the suspect in the abduction of 10-year-old Yehali in Petah Tikva by six days, until September 8. It was also ruled that the gag order on the suspect's name, photograph and details will remain in place until the next hearing. During the hearing, a police representative said they have not yet reached a conclusion on whether the suspect harmed the child, as Yehali is experiencing difficulty remembering the incident itself. The representative added that "the investigation was halted midway at the victim's request, as it was difficult for him to continue due to the severity of the incident."
