MK Galit Distel-Atbaryan (Likud), who submitted the bill to privatize the news division of the public broadcasting corporation, addressed its approval by the Ministerial Committee for Legislation and wrote on X that "The road is still long, but I intend to walk it until the tax money of Second Israel stops funding a racist media body that oppresses it. This is the goal, and I will do everything in my power to fully achieve it."
