The Police Internal Investigations Department (PIID) has closed the investigation against Chief Superintendent Amit Polak, former commander of the Hadera police station, who was suspected of illegally attempting to cancel traffic tickets issued to him. The allegations against him included fraud, breach of trust and abuse of his power as a police officer.
