Police are preparing for expected rainfall today in the Negev region and announced road closures in the Arava starting at 13:30: Road 40 will be closed from Ramon Junction, through Tzihor Junction to Ketura Junction; Road 12 will be closed from Neot Smadar Junction to the western entrance to Eilat, near the Anchor Circle; Road 13 will be closed from Tzihor Junction to Menucha Junction. Police stated that traffic to Eilat and Arava settlements will be possible via Road 90, but traffic disruptions are expected there as well.
