About 50,000 visitors toured nature reserves and national parks across Israel over the weekend, which opened for the first time since the outbreak of the war with Iran. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that the leading sites were Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Tel Ashkelon, Caesarea, Apollonia, Beit Guvrin, Besor National Park (Eshkol Park) and Mitzpe HaTzinim Reserve. About 350 visitors stayed overnight in campgrounds over the weekend, with the leading sites being Khan Be'erot in Ramon Crater and Masada West Campground.
