Iranian FM: 'Nuclear weapons? Unacceptable'

|
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a speech broadcast on state television that nuclear weapons are "unacceptable." The U.S. and Iran are conducting negotiations on Iran's nuclear program and uranium enrichment, which Tehran views as a "right." "If the issue is nuclear weapons, then yes, we too consider such weapons unacceptable," Araghchi said. "We agree with the U.S. on this matter." According to him, "in dealing with the uranium enrichment issue, we have one axis - rejection of hegemony."
