The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry announced that 40 people were killed and 125 were wounded in strikes across the Strip in the past 24 hours. The ministry reported that the death toll in Gaza since the beginning of the war has risen to 52,535, with 118,491 wounded. The ministry also stated that since fighting resumed on March 18, 2,436 Palestinians have been killed and 6,450 have been wounded in Gaza.
