Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Gadi Eisenkot praised Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz's withdrawal from the election race. He said it was "the right and responsible decision in the most fateful elections since the state's founding." He added: "I am grateful for his years-long contribution to Israel's security and am confident he will continue to contribute to Israeli society going forward."
