Details of the incident in Khan Yunis reveal that around 9:00 AM, more than 15 militants emerged from several tunnels near a Nachshon Battalion (Kfir Brigade) outpost in southern Khan Yunis and infiltrated it. The militants carried out combined small arms and anti-tank fire toward the outpost, and several militants who penetrated were eliminated in face-to-face combat and airstrikes. Battalion fighters, in cooperation with the Air Force, eliminated about 10 militants, while approximately 8 militants escaped back to the tunnel. The event is still ongoing and forces continue efforts to locate and eliminate the militants.
