French President Emmanuel Macron called for a joint declaration with Britain on recognizing a Palestinian state. He said this at a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, explaining: "I believe in a two-state solution, which is what will allow Israel to live in peace and security with its neighbors. I believe we need to speak with one voice on this issue, whether it's Paris or London or anywhere else - everyone needs to recognize a Palestinian state."
