Police and the Ministry of Health announced they have uncovered a laboratory producing counterfeit drugs in an apartment in Hadera. As part of the investigation, a chemistry student was arrested on suspicion of illegally manufacturing various drugs in the apartment. During a search of his home, authorities seized materials for drug production suspected to be anabolic steroids, suspicious powders and liquids, as well as empty capsules used for preparing products not approved by the Ministry of Health. His detention has been extended until February 1.
