About two weeks after signing with Crystal Palace in the most expensive deal for an Israeli player, Anan Khalaili came off the bench to make his debut in the London club's jersey. Khalaili entered the match in the 55th minute in an away game against Everton, in the opening round of the Premier League, with his team trailing 2-0. The winger moved from Belgian side Sint-Gilloise to Crystal Palace for 21 million euros.
