The National Cyber Directorate warned against phishing attempts impersonating hotel reservations from the Booking website. The Cyber Directorate stated that "reports have been received of messages containing a link to a website impersonating Booking, with a request to confirm a hotel reservation. In some cases, the messages include actual booking details, such as dates of stay and a reservation number, which may increase their credibility." It was recommended, among other things, not to click on the link in the message, to check the reservation directly on the official website or app and to report to the National Cyber Directorate's 119 hotline.
