Hostage survivor Ilana Gritzewsky: I lost 11 kg in Gaza. How long will you let us fall apart?

|
Ilana Gritzewsky, a hostage survivor and partner of kidnapped Matan Tzangauker, said at a demonstration for the return of hostages at Begin Gate in Tel Aviv: "In captivity, I endured torture, hunger, pain, humiliation, and sexual harassment. I was severely injured - in my leg, ear, and pelvis. I lost 11 kilograms and suffered from illnesses. There was no food, no water, no hygiene. We were like merchandise that could be moved around and exploited." She addressed the government saying: "How much longer will you let us fall apart, and continue with a strategy of procrastination, silence and abandonment - as if you're not the ones responsible for bringing them back?"
