Education Minister Yoav Kish said in the Knesset plenum that he is "a strong supporter of sovereignty," when responding on behalf of the government to proposed bills on extending sovereignty to Ma'ale Adumim (by Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman) and to Judea and Samaria (by Noam chairman Avi Maoz). However, referring to the proposed legislation, he said "this is not how sovereignty is done." Kish also claimed that "this is the best government for settlement."
