Prof. Hershkovitz's first decision: Extending the term of acting Director General of the Prime Minister's Office

The first decision of the acting Civil Service Commissioner, Prof. Daniel Hershkovitz, is to extend the term of Drorit Steinmetz as acting Director General of the Prime Minister's Office, ynet has learned. Steinmetz's term had ended, and in the absence of an acting Civil Service Commissioner, it was not possible to reinstate her to the position. With Hershkovitz's return to the Commission, this is the first decision he made. The Commission did not provide a response.
