Hamas Political Bureau Chief Khalil al-Hayya told Al-Araby TV that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attendance at the UN General Assembly session should have been prevented, not that of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen). He also said: "I met with the Americans many times and presented our people's demands to them. During the meetings, I felt understanding from them. Israel seeks to expel the Palestinian people, but we will confront the transfer plans."
