Police have reported that access roads to and from the city of Eilat are blocked. Highway 90 has been closed to vehicle traffic from Eilat to Ein Gedi due to intermittent flooding along Highway 90, from Ein Gedi through the Arava and to Eilat. "At this time, entry and exit to and from the city of Eilat are blocked. We clarify that exit from the city will be permitted for residents of Hevel Eilot Regional Council settlements and those seeking to reach Ramon Airport (upon presentation of a flight ticket)," the statement said. Additionally, Highway 40 from Tziporim Junction to Tzihor Junction and Highway 25 from Tzafit Junction to Arava Junction have also been closed to vehicle traffic.
