Likud responded once again to a Haaretz report that UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed conveyed a warning to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, who was eliminated, about a week and a half before the October 7 massacre. The party claims that "the real affair that has been exposed is blatant foreign interference in the elections. It turned out that behind the report is the senior Palestinian official Mohammed Dahlan who is based in the Emirates." Later, Likud announced that it is demanding the opening of an investigation against Haaretz and additional parties.
