Mano Shipping: 'There is a slight delay in passenger disembarkation in Syros, expecting protest to disperse soon'

|
Mano Shipping company, whose approximately 1,600 cruise passengers are not allowed to disembark in Syros, Greece due to a pro-Palestinian protest at the dock, reported that "We are in contact with local authorities, which has caused a slight delay in passenger disembarkation. During the season we have only occasional stops in Syros. The port stay time will be extended accordingly. The local tours will not be affected. There are no armed police officers on the ship, only Israeli security personnel, as is customary. The assessment is that the protest will disperse soon."
