The Hasidic rabbinical leaders met in Ora, near Jerusalem, and following their meeting announced: "Council members have decided not to be part of a government that assists in persecuting the Torah world. We will instruct Agudat Yisrael's Knesset members to immediately introduce a bill to dissolve the Knesset." The meeting was attended by Agudat Yisrael's Knesset members and ministers, including Housing Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf. During their discussion, the rabbinical leaders did not point an "accusing finger" at Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chairman Yuli Edelstein - as Shas did - but rather at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
