Director General of the Defense Ministry, Major General (res.) Amir Baream, has signed orders amounting to approximately 900 million shekels for the procurement of air munitions manufactured by Elbit Systems for the IDF. The Defense Ministry reported this, adding that "the production of munitions will be carried out at Elbit factories throughout the country, which employ thousands of workers who have been operating in an enhanced mode since the beginning of the 'Iron Swords' war in accordance with the Defense Ministry's requirements. These deals constitute a central component in the policy to expand Israel's defense production base as part of the war's lessons and to fully support all IDF needs."
