The IDF struck earlier in the Khan Younis area of the Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Sakr Nabil Musa Qisi, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who participated in the October massacre. The IDF further stated that "the terrorist served as director of the Turkish charity Deniz Feneri, which is presented as a humanitarian aid organization but in practice maintains ties with senior figures in Hamas leadership and with figures in the Turkish leadership. As part of his role in the organization, the terrorist worked to employ many terrorists on a permanent basis and to provide financial support to Hamas terrorists. The organization and its senior officials present their activities as humanitarian work, but in practice promote fundraising to support the terrorist organization."
