A cell of more than 14 terrorists raided an IDF post on the Morg axis in Khan Younis and opened fire with machine guns and RPGs at the soldiers. The forces, who identified the cell emerging from an underground tunnel, returned fire at the terrorists - and when they began to flee, aircraft and tanks were also deployed to attack them. According to one assessment, in this unusual incident, the terrorists' objective also included capturing an IDF soldier.
