Young man from Beer Sheva arrested at Ben Gurion Airport on suspicion of spying for Iran

Police arrested a 25-year-old Beer Sheva resident on suspicion of spying for Iran over the past year and a half. The young man was arrested upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport after returning from abroad, and is suspected of contact with a foreign agent from Iran. The arrest was carried out under the intelligence direction of the Shin Bet, and the Beer Sheva Magistrate's Court extended his detention until next Monday.
