The Hadash council decided to suspend Jafar Farah's candidacy and chose Dr. Faten Ghatas in his place. Three days ago, Farah announced his withdrawal from the list amid testimonies against him of sexual harassment, but only now was his suspension approved and his replacement's identity announced. Dr. Ghatas is a resident of Rameh who serves as director of activities for the Israel Cancer Association in Arab society.
