|
Israeli diplomat Eitan Naeh has passed away at the age of 62. Naeh served, among other roles, as the head of relations at the Israeli embassy in the United Arab Emirates and as ambassador to Bahrain, Turkey and Azerbaijan. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar eulogized him: "I received with great sadness the bitter news of the untimely death of Eitan, who served Israel with dedication during his 35 years of work at the Foreign Ministry. Eitan was a gifted diplomat who stood out in his ability to create connections and relationships wherever he served. Above all, in all his missions and the many positions he held, Eitan was known for his big heart and infinite care. I send my condolences to his wife Cheryl and his children."
