Several dozen extremist ultra-Orthodox protesters are blocking Bar Lev Road in Jerusalem in protest of the arrest of draft dodgers. Police reported they are operating with special patrol unit and border police forces to disperse the disturbance and reopen the traffic artery. It was further stated that 'the rioters are throwing objects and stones and disrupting daily life. A police officer declared an unlawful disturbance of the peace and called on the rioters to evacuate, and since they did not respond to the officers' calls, forces began operating to disperse them.'
