Veteran Israeli radio broadcaster Moshik Timor dies at 89

Moshik Timor, one of Israel's veteran radio broadcasters, passed away at the age of 89 due to heart problems. Timor was considered one of the oldest and most recognizable voices in Israeli radio, and for decades he broadcast on Kol Israel and later also on the Kan public broadcasting corporation. In 2022, he was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the Journalists Association. He is survived by his partner, Adi Kaplansky, two daughters - Shirli and Gili, and three grandchildren. His funeral will be held this Sunday at Kibbutz Horeshim.
