Defense Minister signs appointment of committee members to examine Army Radio status

|
Defense Minister Israel Katz has signed the appointment of committee members to examine the status of the Army Radio station, which will submit its conclusions within 50 days, headed by Major General (Res.) Yiftach Ron-Tal. "Army Radio was established by the Israeli government as a military station to serve as the voice and ear for IDF soldiers and their families," the Defense Minister stated. "I made it clear from the start that I am not willing for the current situation to continue - and what was will no longer be." Katz added that "the committee must examine whether Army Radio fulfills its original purpose and whether there is justification to maintain the existing framework."
