Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced the severance of ties with European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, after reports that she compared Israel to the apartheid regime in closed-door meetings held in Mexico. Kallas has not denied the report since it was published about a week ago. "Ms. Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, has been acting for some time with obsessive and disgracefully dishonest behavior against the State of Israel," he said. "I have no choice but to sever all contact with her until she retracts this blood libel."
