The U.S. administration is preparing a $2.8 billion deal to sell bombs weighing approximately 2,000 pounds to Israel – the largest single sale of this type of armament in recent years. This was reported by an American official to The Washington Post, who said the package includes 40,000 bombs weighing approximately 2,000 pounds each – including 20,000 MK-84 bombs and 20,000 BLU-117 bombs. The deal also includes 20,000 I-2000 Penetrator warheads, designed to penetrate fortifications.
