Public broadcaster warns of false message circulating against Smotrich

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC) announced on X that a false message is being circulated in its name, claiming that 'Finance Minister Smotrich secretly signed off on transferring hundreds of millions for humanitarian aid to Gaza while concealing the information from government members.' The Religious Zionism party stated that 'the Prime Minister and Finance Minister have made it clear that Israel is not funding humanitarian aid' and suggested: 'Either a state-funded channel has begun a false political campaign, or a partisan element is impersonating a media outlet.' The party announced it has contacted the corporation demanding to reveal the sender's identity.
