IDF spokesperson Brig. Gen. Efi Defrin made a statement addressing the Israeli Air Force strikes in Iran, saying that "last night 200 fighter jets carried out strikes and dropped over 330 different munitions. In a precise operation during the night, more than 100 targets across Iran were hit. Leaders of the nuclear program were targeted and senior leaders and commanders were eliminated." Brig. Gen. Defrin added: "We attacked and struck the Iranian regime's air defense systems."
